Bonaprene to take the buffer
We got the call from a long term customer who had a big problem
After decades of use the buffer mooring on their factory materials handling had broken rendering the equipment unusable.
We got the call from a long term customer who had a big problem. They needed Bonaprene to take the buffer, strip off the failed rubber and salvage and/or re-machine the metal plates and fixings. We then had to prepare a mould and polyurethane cast the elastomer buffer, bonding the polyurethane onto the plates.
Following on, our customer’s buffer supporting their material handling shaft had failed Bonaprene completed the remanufacture. We stripped off the old failed rubber and re-manufactured the necessary metal parts. Once preperation was complete we cast polyurethane into the mould we created and bonded the plates to the polyurethane re-creating the buffer. After QA checks it was onto a same day delivery van to be refitted and the machinery was back up and running ready for the factory restart.
