Bonathane polyurethane has excellent resistance to oils, fuels and many other chemicals. Excellent tensile strength makes Bonathane polyurethane more resistant to tears and cuts than rubber and silicone. Bonathane polyurethane has great versatility at low temperatures with typical service temperatures ranging from –40ºC to +80ºC.

Bonaprene’s comprehensive shot blasting and bonding facility allows the incorporation of steel fixing plates and tungsten wear blades into the polyurethane scraper.

Colours & Hardness of Polyurethane Scrapers
Bonaprene offer a very wide range of colours of polyurethane scraper. Standard colours are black, white, red, blue, orange green and yellow. At extra cost specials can be made in virtually any colour imaginable.
Bonaprene offer standard polyurethane scraper hardness from 35 Shore A to 95 Shore A as well as specials in the higher D range of 60 Shore D and 80 Shore D.
Tungsten Carbide Tipped Polyurethane Scrapers
Bonaprene produce Tungsten Tipped polyurethane scrapers. The Tungsten Tips provide immensely high wear properties combined with outstanding belt scraping performance. Bonaprene glue the Tungsten Carbide Tips into steel carriers and the assembly is bonded to the cast polyurethane in the mould. Once de-moulded the 150mm wide scraper is ready for supply. The design allows for speedy fitting to the conveyor assembly where the Tungsten Carbide Tip makes contact with the belt.
